The all-new Honda HRN series of lawn mowers has been designed from the ground up. Replacing the popular Honda HRR Series, the innovative new HRN lawn mower offers a powerful new Honda GCV170 engine and added features that optimize grass cutting while streamlining operation and maintenance.

The Honda HRN lawn mowers were designed from the ground up and tested at Honda Research and Development Americas, Inc. (HRA) in Swepsonville, NC. The new models will be produced at the nearby Honda Power Equipment Manufacturing facility, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary.

Superior Bagging

The redesigned Honda HRN MicroCut System twin blades produce finer clippings, yielding more clippings per bag. That means less time spent emptying the bag – and more free time for you!

Superior Mulching

Mulching is more efficient on the Honda HRN Series lawn mower. The exclusive Honda Twin Blade MicroCut System® results in exact cutting and fine mulching at any height. Finer grass clippings make better mulch, with fewer clumps and better grass distribution.

The newly redesigned HRN Steel Deck also contributes to improved mulching. The innovative deck design optimizes airflow by strengthening the turbulence of the clippings in cutter housing.

Superior Clogging Toughness

The Honda HRN Series is superior to the competition in clogging toughness, while delivering a high quality cut finish. Honda internal tests showed the HRN mowed more than three times as far as the competition, and twice as far as the previous HRR series, in tough mowing conditions.

Born, Bred—and Assembled— in the USA*

The Honda HRN lawn mower is designed, tested and manufactured at Honda facilities in Swepsonville, North Carolina.* The existing 107-acre campus houses both Honda Power Equipment Manufacturing, Inc. (HPE) and Honda Power Product R&D operations.

HPE produces a wide variety of general-purpose engines and numerous power equipment products including lawn mowers, snow blowers, trimmers, tillers, generators and water pumps.

The R&D team moved from its original base in Ohio to North Carolina in 1993 to be closer to power product manufacturing. As a result, Honda has deep collaboration between its power equipment development and production teams. This collaboration expedited the design and development process behind the all-new Honda HRN Series of lawn mowers.

*Honda lawn mowers are made using domestic and globally sourced parts.
