Hydrostatic drive: Pick the right speed for you, with an easy single lever control
Hydrostatic drive: Pick the right speed for you, with an easy single lever control

Control of forward and reverse speed is simplicity itself with Honda's hydrostatic transmission. Just move the lever forward or backward to go in the direction you want, at the speed you want. Infinitely variable speed means it's easy to pick a speed to match your snow conditions and personal preference. There's no shifting, and the ground speed doesn't affect the auger rotation speed. It's easy to control, and virtually maintenance free.

This is the second Honda Snowblower I have owned and the third personal Honda product ( lawnmower) I have had the pleasure of owning. This model snowblower I purchased is far superior and more sophisticated than any other snowblower I have ever used. The company stands by their product and even though I was a novice initially using this upgraded model the dealer was exceptionally helpfully in training me in the proper manner to operate this model successfully.  I unintentionally ran the snowblower off the self propelled tracks and the company and dealer stood by their product and repaired the machine under the warranty agreement 2 years after purchase. That is a company that cares about customer service and satisfaction. I would recommend this brand to anyone.

easily the best

Honestly this is the Snowblower I bought when I was 9 years old Im 45 now.   for 36 years I have used this other than maintence, and auger bolts I have bought NOTHING to keep this going!  It starts on the first pull with 2 fingers every time EVEN on the 1st snow of the year!    I do however need new tires that are dry rotted.   The only way I would let this go is if Honda GAVE me a brand new one to put this in a museum!  I used it last night.
