Two Position, Reversible Skid Shoes

Skid shoes protect the auger housing from wear. They are a valuable way to keep your snow blower in great shape for years to come.

Honda’s skid shoes are a superior design:

• Manufactured from extremely durable materials, so they take longer to wear down
• Reversible- so you get twice the life from one set. When one side is worn down, simply reverse it!

The skid shoe position can be changed to match your snow conditions.

• For heavy snow, or clearing against a curb:
  • Attach it behind the housing to prevent it from “biting” into the snow.
• For light snow, or uneven road surfaces:
  • Attach it to the housing side to improve stability, and prevent the auger from scraping on the road.
